Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Reward for Missing Pet in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the reward for information about the missing canine named Halo to £15k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any information regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Big incentive for reuniting with her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return to our side quickly," Ramsey posted on social media.
Earlier Reward and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first revealed that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently uploaded numerous photos of the beloved canine on his social media account.
A $10,000 reward was originally offered, but with no news on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the amount.
"Our only wish is Halo home," he expressed in a further request on social media after the 10-year-old dog disappeared.
The latest photograph upload is a grayscale image of the beagle snoozing, her head resting in the crook of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "What I'd do to cuddle you once more Halo."
Household's Worries and Context
The footballer has also posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have a few "pressing questions" surrounding the disappearance and are concerned the family "may never obtain answers".
"We still haven't found our dog. It is unlikely we will ever," his wife's message expressed.
The Wales captain became part of Mexican premier team Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his debut in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
